MYKI

MYKI operates services across 15 zones. Fares are calculated at either an adult or concession rate and based on the number of zones you travel through during your journey.

The zone system works in a circular pattern, with zone 1 starting in Melbourne CBD and working its way north- west to the Bendigo and Ballarat, south-west to the Geelong , North to Seymour and East out to Traralgon .

Fare examples:

• If you are travelling between Geelong (zone 4) and Southern Cross (zone 1), you would pay a seven zone fare because you are travelling through zones  four, three, two and one (4-1+1 = 4 zones).

• If you are travelling from Yarragon (zone8) to Bunyip (zone 5), you would pay a four zone fare because you are travelling though zones eight, seven, six and five (8-5+1 = 4 zones).
